The TorchRider made an exciting debut at the N. Florida Prescribed Burn Council in Tallahassee this week. “It was like the paparazzi were taking pictures!” reported TorchRider inventor, Chet Merry. Lots of interest was generated and quite a few questions were answered during the static display.
The Council gave Chet the opportunity to give a product presentation that had a positive effect towards safety in burning on ATVs for the meeting attendees who were quick to recognize the many safety advantages of the TorchRider in conducting prescribed burning operations for forestry and wildfire management. American Rx Fire Appliances provided snacks and drinks for the attendees which was well received during the two o’ clock break.
Months and months of tool design and fabrication, manufacturer tooling, painting, promotion, and patenting are paying off! “We are excited to be able to provide tools that we feel are important to those of us that prescribe burn. The Torchrider is a quality tool that will be helping people burn safer for years to come.”
